Out by the river: Mandy and Devin

Mandy and Devin decided to make their wedding very special and have it on the shores of the Patuxent river.

A once in a lifetime opportunity at the Commandant of the Marine Corps house..

This weekend I had the amazing opportunity to photographed Aaron Warren and Cicely wedding on the grounds of the Commandant of the Marine Corps quarters at the 8th and I barracks in Washington DC. I later found out that this was a once in a lifetime event, as the couple has to have a very personal and strong connection to the commandant to be allowed to have their ceremony take place on the grounds. The father of the bride is the current Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps. A man I have been able to meet before when I was photographer at the Quantico Sentry and photographed his changed of command(a ceremony symbolizing someone gaining a new position) back in the spring of 2007 when he took on his current position.
